Taking photos helps you to hold on to precious memories and allows you revisit those cherished events with crystal clear accuracy. Barring unfortunate circumstances, a photograph will always be there, even when your memory fades.

Also, there is an art to taking photos. Photography can be as creative an outlet as writing, painting, or any other form of artistry. A photograph cannot be produced with a camera alone. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved. It's an intrinsically creative process.
